FAQ

How do I wash my designs?

You can either hand wash them by soaking them in soapy water for 10 minutes. Then rub the fabric together to remove the ink and let them air dry.

If not, you can put them directly in the washing machine in cold or warm water with the other clothes. To dry, we recommend air-drying them, as organic cotton fabric has a tendency to shrink in the dryer and you may have to iron them afterwards. Also, they will have a better longevity by drying them this way.

Tip - Some felt pen colors may have a hard time coming off. It all depends on how hard the child applies and the quality of the washable felt pens. It is therefore advisable to put it back in the wash a second time to see all of it go. In addition, some washing machines may have difficulty washing the entire garment when it is too full, as the amount of water will not be sufficient. It is therefore recommended that you soak your clothes for 5 minutes before putting them in the wash.

What should I use to color my drawings?

To be able to reuse your drawings and make them last, the pencils used should be washable felt pens (crayola seems to be the best so far). Any other pencils, such as wood pencils, waxes, chalks, pens are not suitable for fabric. It will then stain and not come off in the wash.

In addition, if you draw with strong pressure with the washable felt pen on the drawing, the ink may penetrate and stain the fabric slightly. If this is the case, please read "How to wash my drawings" below.

When should I wash my designs?

It is recommended that you wash your designs 3 days after use to prevent the ink from penetrating the fabric and staining it.

What to do with the drawing?

At what age can my child benefit from it?

There is no age limit to start drawing with our minis. As soon as they show an interest, it is important to provide them with the necessary tools to explore this new concept and work on what they need to work on. Just as there is no age to start, there is probably no age to finish. Coloring and drawing allows us to settle down, take care of ourselves, dream... We just have to evolve with the interests of our big minis.

He doesn't seem to be interested in coloring what to do?

It can happen at any time that a child doesn't seem to be interested in a new toy, an activity or even a food. This is totally normal, don't worry. The child evolves from day 1 and discovers his interests, tastes and needs. He may not be interested in conventional drawing or coloring. All children are different. It is therefore necessary to desensitize the child with what he knows about drawing or coloring to offer him other ways to do this activity. For example, hanging the drawing on the wall, under the table, standing up, listening to a favorite story, with rhythmic music, various color choices... There are as many ways to enjoy this activity as there are children. The most important thing is to be there to provide what they need without forcing them to enjoy the activity.
